The Gorge (2025) is a science fiction romantic action film directed by Scott Derrickson, featuring Miles Teller as Levi and Anya Taylor-Joy as Drasa. The narrative centers on two elite snipers assigned to guard opposite sides of a mysterious, deep ravine, known as “the gorge,” without any contact with the outside world or each other.

Levi, a former U.S. Marine Scout/Sniper, and Drasa, a Lithuanian covert operative, begin their isolated missions with strict adherence to protocol. Over time, curiosity and loneliness lead them to communicate through written signs and playful interactions, including sharpshooting competitions and games of chess. Their bond deepens, evolving into a romantic relationship despite the perilous environment and the monstrous entities, referred to as “The Hollow Men,” that inhabit the gorge.
