Infinite (2021)

Summary:

Infinite (2021) is a sci-fi action thriller directed by Antoine Fuqua, based on the novel The Reincarnationist Papers by D. Eric Maikranz. The film follows Evan McCauley (Mark Wahlberg), a man struggling with schizophrenia-like visions and memories of places he has never been. As he discovers, these memories are echoes of his past lives. He is soon drawn into a secret society known as the Infinites—people who possess total recall of their previous existences. With the help of this group, Evan learns he is a crucial figure in an age-old battle against Bathurst (Chiwetel Ejiofor), a rogue Infinite who seeks to end the cycle of reincarnation permanently.

As Evan races against time, he must unlock the full potential of his memories and skills from past lives to stop Bathurst’s apocalyptic plan. The film explores themes of identity, destiny, and the burden of knowledge, blending fast-paced action with high-concept sci-fi elements.
